# About Order NAD: An Editorial Digest of the NAD+ Literature

> Order NAD is an independent editorial project summarizing peer-reviewed research on NAD+ and its precursors. Not a clinic, not a vendor — a cited reading of the published evidence.

An independent editorial reading of the NAD+ research record — the forms, the routes, and the evidence, listed straight.

## What this site is

Order NAD is an independent editorial project that publishes summaries of the peer-reviewed research literature on NAD+ and its precursors. We are not a clinic. We do not employ clinicians and we do not provide medical advice. We do not manufacture, sell, or distribute any product. Our work is editorial commentary on publicly available science.

The "order" in the name is editorial framing, not a storefront. We read the NAD+ literature the way a trading desk reads an order book — listing each form of the molecule (the coenzyme itself, the oral precursors NMN and NR, the IV route) side by side with what the studies actually measured, so a reader can compare them without conflating them. Nothing here is for sale, ordered, or dispensed.

## How we handle the evidence

Every quantitative claim on this site maps to a numbered citation drawn from the published literature — randomized human trials, mechanism reviews, and primary studies. We keep two distinctions exact. First, the coenzyme-versus-precursor line: intact NAD+ is poorly absorbed orally, so an oral-NMN or oral-NR study is never described as "taking NAD+." Second, the route line: oral, IV, and injectable evidence are read on separate channels, because they differ sharply in both strength and pharmacokinetics.

We report the gaps as plainly as the findings. Oral precursors reliably raise blood NAD+; whether that produces a hard clinical benefit in humans is, on the current evidence, unproven. Where the data are thin — the IV route especially — we say so.

## What we do not do

We do not recommend doses, products, or treatments. We do not name or endorse any commercial supplement brand. We describe what specific studies administered to which species, by which route, and what they measured — never what any reader should take. NAD+ is not an FDA-approved drug; most oral products are precursors sold as dietary supplements, and IV/injectable NAD+ is a compounded, unapproved wellness therapy. This digest exists to make the published record legible, not to sell anything against it.

---

The NAD+ literature read like an order book — the coenzyme and its precursors NMN and NR each listed apart, the blood-NAD+ the trials actually moved quoted to source, and the rapidly-cleared IV route flagged as the weak-data listing; no clinic behind this desk and nothing here ordered, infused, dispensed, or sold.
